At Vitality Physical Therapy Lakeside, we believe that movement is life and no one embodies that philosophy better than our founder, Oscar Morales Cruz. With a passion for helping people regain mobility, independence, and confidence, Oscar brings expertise, compassion, and a deep commitment to every patient he treats.
Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Oscar’s path to becoming a physical therapist was shaped by personal experience. After suffering an injury in his youth that required rehabilitation, he experienced firsthand the impact that physical therapy can have on someone’s recovery and overall quality of life. That experience, combined with his natural drive to help others, led him to pursue a career in physical therapy.
In November 2020, Oscar made the move to the Chapala and Ajijic area, drawn by both professional opportunities and love—relocating to Jalisco with the dream of building a life with his now-wife and making a difference in his community.
Oscar is a graduate of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), holding certifications in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). He has extensive experience treating geriatric patients, muscle injuries, post-operative and post-stroke recovery cases, and individuals who want to maintain an active lifestyle. His approach is not just about treatment—it’s about empowering his patients to restore movement, reduce pain, and get back to doing what they love.
For Oscar, physical therapy is more than a profession—it’s a calling. What he enjoys most about his work is helping patients reach their recovery goals, whether that means walking without pain, returning to a favorite sport, or simply enjoying everyday activities with ease. Seeing his patients regain their independence and confidence is the ultimate reward.
When he’s not working with patients, Oscar enjoys spending time with his wife, watching series together, playing with their dog, Luna, and staying active at the gym. He also loves connecting with friends and embracing the vibrant community he now calls home.
At Vitality Physical Therapy Lakeside, you’re not just another patient—you’re a person with unique goals, challenges, and a story to tell. With Oscar’s expertise and compassionate care, you’ll find a partner dedicated to helping you move better, feel better, and live better.

Daniela’s journey into physiotherapy was solidified during her internship at the Hospital Civil Viejo, where she witnessed firsthand how treatment can transform a patient’s recovery and overall well-being. She discovered that beyond the physical techniques, providing care and attention plays a crucial role in helping people feel better. This experience confirmed that physiotherapy was the perfect path for her.
